At the Nov. 18 meeting the board designated how the district's votes would be cast in the Ellis Appraisal District director election. Trustee Gary Vineyard moved and Trustee Jessica Ward seconded a resolution to assign 834 votes to Dani Muckleroy and the remaining 123 votes to David Hurst; the board approved the measure unanimously.
Earlier in the meeting public commenter Dani Muckleroy addressed the board requesting their support in the upcoming Ellis County Appraisal District election. The board's vote assignment was recorded in the minutes as the official designation for the district's ballots for the 2025 election.
