PITTSBURG, Texas — The Pittsburg ISD Board of Trustees approved its consent agenda during the Jan. 27 board meeting, voting 6-0 with one trustee absent to accept the minutes and financial reports.
Board President Greg Miller called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and the board moved immediately to the consent agenda. Bryan Berry made the motion to approve "the minutes and financial reports in the consent agenda," which Vernon Rowe seconded. The motion passed with votes recorded as Bryan Berry: Yea; Lawrence Cleveland: Yea; Linsey Harwell: Yea; Greg Miller: Yea; Vernon Rowe: Yea; Mario Willis: Yea; Christian Yantis: Absent.
The board also noted a correction to the minutes from the Jan. 17, 2025 meeting: Christian Yantis had been incorrectly marked as present. Trustees said the minutes would be amended and presented for approval at the next meeting. The action preserves the district's official recordkeeping and closed the consent items without additional discussion.
The board adjourned at approximately 7:14 p.m.
