Commission approves facility use, equipment purchase and IDA reappointments; cemetery bylaws tabled

At its Nov. 12 meeting, the commission approved several routine but consequential items. Commissioners voted unanimously to allow the Chattahoochee County Board of Education to use the Old City Hall building; to purchase a truck for the Emergency Management Agency; and to reappoint Mattye Kinney and Gene Burgamy to five-year terms on the Industrial Development Authority, expiring June 30, 2029.
On cemetery bylaws, Commissioner Jason Frost moved to table proposed bylaws and schedule the item for Dec. 3, and the commission voted to delay action pending further work by the attorney and committee. The minutes record motions, seconds and unanimous votes for each recorded decision.
