McIntosh council adopts tentative millage rate of 1.9909 mills

On Sept. 16, 2025, the McIntosh Town Council approved Resolution 2025-04, establishing a tentative FY2025-26 millage rate of 1.9909 mills. The mayor read the resolution title and there were no public comments before the council adopted the measure by roll call.
President Ciotti, Cllr Deaderick, Cllr Jones and Cllr Medeiros recorded "yes" votes on the adoption. The roll-call adoption was recorded in the minutes following the title reading; Vice President Mullikin was marked absent on the meeting roll call. The tentative rate is subject to a final public hearing and any subsequent adjustments before a final millage is certified.
The adoption sets the council’s baseline for property-tax revenue planning as staff completes details for the final budget. The council later scheduled a final budget hearing for Sept. 30 at 6 p.m.
