The board approved a slate of personnel actions including classified and certified resignations and hires, leaves of absence, a long-term substitute appointment and the 2025–26 contracts for coordinators, directors and administrators. The motion to approve personnel recommendations (VII.C 1–6) passed unanimously; a subsequent vote on administrator contracts (VII.C 7–9) passed with one abstention from Mrs. Julie Oost.
The personnel list included new hires such as Claire Ancevicius and Jordan Baumgartner as elementary teachers, and a recommended long-term substitute assignment for Kim Rueth. Superintendent Steve Stein had earlier explained a staffing proposal that includes adding two certified FTEs next year — one Arabic TBE teacher at Mokena Elementary School and one specialized instruction teacher at Mokena Junior High School.
