McIntosh adopts tentative millage rate of 1.8525 mills

The McIntosh Town Council adopted Proposed Resolution 2025-06 setting the FY 2025–2026 tentative millage (roll-back) rate at 1.8525 mills during its Sept. 30, 2025, budget hearing. Mayor Scott read the title of the resolution and the council approved it by roll call with all members voting in favor.
During the public-comment period resident Mary Ann Kelley asked whether the increase in garbage-collection fees included the clean-up day before the festival; Town Manager Gonzalez answered, "Yes." The council proceeded to adopt the millage resolution by unanimous roll call, with President Ciotti, Vice President Mullikin, Cllr Deaderick, Cllr Jones and Cllr Medeiros recorded as voting yes.
