Staff told the board that on June 23 the Department of Children's Services made an unannounced licensing visit and found the facility fully compliant. “We were a 100% compliant, and there were no deficiencies denoted, on that day,” staff said, and the board congratulated staff on the result.
The director also announced an internal leadership transition: beginning next month Leon will take the first seat and start attending the boards and meetings to prepare, “for his eventual rise to director.” Board members voiced support and congratulated staff for reaccreditation and ongoing compliance work.
