Sputoni told commissioners the River District raised $253,500 through sponsorships, grants and event revenue and highlighted volunteer and vendor participation: “We had 770 art vendors setting up at Art Walk” and “we had 385 musicians performing” across events. She offered a rough estimate of overall attendance, saying “I just threw out that number. 200,000 people,” and said the group has asked the tourism development council to consider formal crowd‑counting, although she noted that would be an expensive measure.
