Board of Elections reports 679 registration changes and absentee ballot mailings for May

Hotaling and Warner reported the office processed 679 registration, address, party or name changes in May 2026. They said military, UOCAVA and federal absentee ballots were mailed by the May 8 deadline and the remainder of absentee ballots were mailed May 22. The BOE also accepted five independent petitions between May 19 and 26 and noted it had received general objections during the same period.
The report provides the committee with routine operational details ahead of upcoming elections and indicates the BOE is meeting statutory mailing deadlines for military and federal absentee voters. No motions or votes were recorded on BOE business during the meeting.
