Twisp council appoints Tim McGuire to fill open Council Position #2

Mayor Smith said he was "very excited about the interest in the open Council seat," a comment the council took into account while discussing committee assignments and upcoming responsibilities for the remainder of the year. Council members did not record a roll-call vote by name in the minutes beyond noting unanimous approval.
The appointment was made immediately following candidate interviews; McGuire is expected to assume any committee assignments directed by the mayor and council at a later date.
