Twisp council approves Cascade Pipe ground lease, 2025 fee schedule and 4th of July road closure

At its June 24 meeting the Town of Twisp council approved a series of routine actions. Council Member Lundquist moved to approve the Cascade Pipe Ground Lease as written; Council Member Studen seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Council Member Lundquist also moved to adopt Resolution #25-749 (the 2025 fee schedule); Council Member Menzies seconded and the resolution passed unanimously.
The council approved a road-closure request for the Fourth of July parade unanimously and discussed which members would ride on the parade float (Auburn and Studen indicated they would be present; Lundquist and Menzies were unsure; Mayor Smith said he would be present). Assistant Director Gollen will drive the float and other staff were invited to participate. These matters were approved without recorded amendments or dissent.
