Twisp council awards chip-seal contract to Lloyd Logging

The Town of Twisp unanimously approved a bid award for the chip-seal street preservation project to Lloyd Logging after a council motion by Wyatt Lundquist and a second from Katrina Auburn. Council members voted to accept the bid with no recorded objections.
Director Denham told the council that coordination with the contractor is already under way at the wastewater treatment plant and that "if the agenda item passes tonight, the contractor should begin pre-leveling for the chip seal project within the next couple of weeks." The vote authorizes the Town to move forward with the procurement and scheduling steps; contract administration and pre-construction tasks will be handled by staff and the selected contractor.
