The Horry County Council opened its Sept. 2, 2025 meeting and, after public input, moved to defer Ordinance 80-2025 to the council's Nov. 18 meeting. Chair asked, 'If there's no objection, we'll do this by acclamation,' and the body approved the deferral and the revised agenda without recorded opposition.
The council also approved the minutes from Aug. 19, 2025 and passed the consent agenda by voice vote. There were no public speakers on the consent items and no council questions recorded. The chair indicated the actions were adopted unanimously.
