Jim Knight elected DDA chair; board fills officer posts
Summary
At its Aug. 10 meeting the DDA elected Jim Knight as chair and filled vice chair, treasurer and secretary roles. The board approved the slate by voice vote and the new officers will assume duties immediately.
The DDA held annual elections and selected its 2026–27 officers. Jim Knight was nominated and approved as board chair; Brian Rosen was elected vice chair; Cole Debitz was elected treasurer; and the board selected Jewel (record lists name variably as Julie/Jewel) to serve as secretary.
Nominations were made from the floor and each candidate was affirmed by voice vote. The chair asked staff to update official records and execute any necessary signature authority forms with the clerk’s office.
