Notable line items he listed include $20,000,000 for a community workforce housing innovation pilot program, $15,000,000 for the Rural Development Fund, $25,000,000 for nuclear industry initiative grants, $43,000,000 for quantum infrastructure and $20,000,000 for film production and music incentive grants. The transportation portfolio includes a $400,000,000 nonrecurring general fund subsidy for transportation projects, commercial and general aviation allocations, and $165,000,000 for welcome-center and rest-area replacements and renovations.
These investments were presented as part of HB 2,631; the committee adopted amendments and sent the bill to full finance.
