The commission approved an MOU to establish a partnership between the City of Alamo and South Texas College for curriculum development and workforce education initiatives aimed at promoting training and regional workforce alignment.
A representative explained the MOU will facilitate collaboration on program development and noted that "there's no direct fiscal impact to the city of Alamo associated with this agreement." The presenter said future programs and projects resulting from the partnership will be presented to the commission for consideration as needed. Commissioners moved to approve the MOU and the motion carried by voice vote.
