Commissioners continue three CRA agreements and approve HOME rehab contract for Oak Harbor property
Summary
The Board continued Community Reinvestment Area agreements for 4 Legged Properties, Kelsey Lodging and LEWCO, and authorized a HOME Written Agreement for private owner rehabilitation of 159 Center Street, Oak Harbor (Joyce Muirhead).
The Board of Ottawa County Commissioners authorized continuation of Community Reinvestment Area agreements for three properties—4 Legged Properties (agreement dated April 5, 2018), Kelsey Lodging (agreement dated January 18, 2024) and LEWCO (agreement dated January 7, 2021)—after the Tax Incentive Review Board found those entities in compliance with agreement terms. Each continuation was recommended by the Director of the Regional Planning Commission and approved by the Board on a motion by Commissioner Donald A. Douglas, seconded by Commissioner Mark E. Coppeler.
Separately, the Board authorized the President of the Board to sign a HOME Written Agreement with Joyce Muirhead for Private Owner Rehabilitation assistance using HOME funds through the Community Impact and Preservation Grant for the property at 159 Center Street in Oak Harbor. The action was recommended by the Director of the Regional Planning Commission and approved by the Prosecuting Attorney.
