Alto council approves routine financial and administrative items including October financials

At its Nov. 25 meeting the Alto City Council approved several routine but required administrative items. Councilman Carey Palmer moved to approve departmental reports (Court, Police, Code, Utilities and Admin); Councilman Luke Johnson seconded and the motion passed 4-0. Councilman Luke Johnson then moved to approve accounts payable and the October 2024 financials; Nathaniel Buckingham seconded and that motion also passed 4-0.
The council also approved the Oct. 28, 2024 regular meeting minutes (motion by Elpressely Thacker, second by Luke Johnson) and approved adjustments made in October 2024 (motion by Luke Johnson, second by Nathaniel Buckingham), both by 4-0 votes. The agenda listed an executive session but none was held; the council recorded no executive actions and adjourned at 6:53 p.m.
