Councilman Luke Johnson moved to approve the route, which will close portions of Commerce and Front streets for a short period; Councilwoman Johnson seconded. The motion passed with an affirmative vote of 5–0.
The council did not attach special conditions in the minutes; staff or organizers will need to coordinate street closures and public-safety planning before the event.
