EMS Supervisor Nathan Rohrbough reported the new ambulance is at Scotts for striping, will be stocked when it returns, and must pass a state inspection before it is placed in service; he said the new unit should reduce repair costs associated with older ambulances. Nathan also announced the annual Santa run scheduled for Dec. 7, covering first-due areas of Nutter Fort, Rosebud and Route 20 to the Barbour County line.
Public Works Supervisor Travis Yost said the gas company bored in electric service at no charge while making repairs and resurfacing spots on PA Avenue, leaving electric available on both sides of the street for future events. No formal decisions were required on these operational updates; they were provided as department reports to the council.
