EMS reports new ambulance due mid-January; public works previews Nutter Run project

The EMS report, submitted in writing and summarized at the Dec. 9 meeting, said all ambulances are in service except a new vehicle that should be completed next week and on the road by mid-January. The EMS Supervisor thanked the mayor, recorder, council and residents and said he looks forward to another successful year in 2026, offering seasonal greetings to the community.
Public Works reported that one plow truck had been struck with no injuries and that repair estimates are underway. Staff said recurring rental costs for a man lift (noted at $400 for pick up and drop off) are making leasing or financing a more cost-effective option. Officials also said the Nutter Run project will begin the following Monday and that the work will cause temporary disruption in that area.
