Allen County commissioners approved a $20,385 agreement with Apex Consulting & Surveying for survey, design and easement preparation for a drainage improvement on Yellow River Road. Highway Director Bill Hartman told the board the current 8-inch culvert is undersized and causes water to back up and flood the roadway, and the work will support installation of a larger culvert.
Therese M. Brown moved approval; Ronald W. Turpin seconded and the board voted 3-0. The agreement covers the design and easement work needed before construction can proceed.
