The Town of Williston Board of Civil Authority confirmed that Town Meeting will be held Monday, March 2 at 7:00 p.m. in the WCS auditorium. Board members discussed expected voter flow and agreed to expand the check-in table to three people to manage a rush of attendees anticipated between 6:50 and 7:05 p.m.
Members also agreed to designate and mark a seating area for non-resident visitors, media and students: typically the top rows of the third section, farthest from the auditorium entrance. Chair Andy Mikell opened the meeting at 6:29 p.m. and the group recorded these logistical plans in the minutes to guide staff and volunteers on the night of the town meeting.
