SCASAS reports spike alert work, staffing vacancies and strong audit results

Jessup said SCASAS met with the Probation Director and Department of Social Services to discuss placing a travel evaluator at courts, hospitals or Bridges to Hope to speed response. She also reported audit outcomes: "SCASAS passed their insurance audit with 98% and had an OMIG audit and did well." The committee did not record follow‑up votes but noted staffing and evaluator placement as operational priorities.
At the committee’s request, SCASAS will continue to coordinate overdose mapping efforts with Public Health staff and provide updates on hiring progress and the potential travel evaluator placement.
