Dixon City rolls out redesigned parks webpage with photos, maps and direct reservation links

Madeline, the city’s Economic Development Manager and Public Information Officer, presented a redesigned parks webpage intended to make park information easier to access online. She said each park page now includes a photo, a link to a park-specific map and a direct reserve button that links to the reservation page. "We now have photos for each of our parks and then under each picture, we have a link to a map of that park," Madeline said.
Madeline showed examples including Hall Park and Bowen Park, described how the pages list facility details (for example, barbecue-area counts and estimated capacities) to aid online renters, and invited commissioners and residents to sign up for the city’s digital newsletter via a QR code. Commissioners praised the visual presentation as a strong improvement for public-facing information and online reservations.
