Finance and facilities report: interim audit clear so far; MCOE readies schools and new keyless entry project

Heather Randall (S8) told the board that interim audit work has shown no findings to date and that the finance team is closing about 100 categorical accounts (roughly 30 grants). She said the team is preparing annual attendance reporting and supporting districts with LCAP reviews.
Randall also described facilities and technology work: asphalt resurfacing, some flooring replacement and painting, and an upcoming keyless card‑entry rollout to replace numerous hard keys. "We're working on closing our books right now... we have done our interim audit, which we're happy to report that so far there's no audit findings," S8 said. The board thanked staff and raised no objections to the planned projects.
