Dixon swears in four new firefighters at July council meeting

Acting Fire Chief Randy Schafer told the council, "Tonight, I have the honor of swearing in 4 new members of the Dickson Fire Department," and introduced Engineers Cody Repella and Alan Garcia and reserve firefighters Bridal Visaki and Jose Hernandez.
Schafer noted the new hires bring experience from other agencies (including CAL FIRE and Waterloo Murata Fire Protection District) and from the American River College Fire Academy. After the oath and pinning, he requested a five-minute recess and invited the council for a group photo; the council recessed and then reconvened to continue the business of the meeting.
