Selectboard approves warrants, septage agreement and other routine actions

At its June 8 meeting, the Brookline Selectboard approved the presented warrants (General $2,927,475.86; Payroll $101,618.11; Police Detail $250) in a recorded 4-0 vote. The board also voted to approve a septage agreement with Merrimack and to transfer an outgoing police cruiser to the Emergency Management Department for use after outfitting.
Ed Perry moved to approve the Septage Agreement with Merrimack and Steve Dolfini seconded; the motion passed 4-0. Emergency Management Director David Coffey told the board the department's 2005 Dodge Durango is no longer safe and that equipping the transferred cruiser will be paid from the Emergency Management budget; the transfer was approved 4-0.
Other routine matters included review of three Planning Board site plans (the Selectboard had no comments) and a brief report that Onyx Corporation provided no update. The board also unsealed one set of May 26 non-public minutes and approved several minutes by unanimous consent.
