Commission approves agenda and minutes, sets next meeting for Sept. 2

At the August session the commission approved the printed agenda and last month's minutes by voice vote, noted one absence (Carolyn Duke), set the next meeting for Sept. 2 and adjourned after routine business.
Chair (S1) called the meeting to order, completed roll call and led the commission in approving the printed agenda and last month's minutes by voice vote. The chair noted Commissioner Carolyn Duke was absent and had sent a text about weeds near Fredonia.
"I will call the Culpeper County Highway Commission August meeting to order," the chair said at the opening. Committee member (S3) moved to approve last month's minutes and the motion carried after a second and a voice vote. The commission set its next meeting for September 2 and adjourned after a final motion and voice vote.
