Board approves Amwins Stop Loss renewal after Bukaty presentation; VSP and short-term disability discussed

A representative from Bukaty Companies presented an insurance review to the Cherokee County Board on June 23. After the presentation, Commissioner Cory Moates moved to approve renewal of Amwins Stop Loss coverage; Commissioner Jack Garner seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
The minutes record discussion of a VSP renewal with two options and a short-term disability renewal through SunLife; however, the board took no motion on those items during the session. No dollar amounts for the Amwins renewal were recorded in the minutes.
