Cherokee County commissioners approve minutes and update bank authority

Chair Myra Carlisle Frazier opened the Cherokee County Board of Commissioners meeting at 9:00 a.m. on June 16, 2025, and the board moved quickly through routine procedural business. Commissioner Cory Moates moved to approve the June 9, 2025 minutes; Commissioner Jack Garner seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Later in the meeting Commissioner Frazier moved to approve corrected minutes from May 19, 2025; Garner seconded and that motion also passed unanimously. Frazier then moved to update the Affidavit of Authority for the county's DDB-ACH account at American Bank and to update the checking signature card for that bank; both motions were seconded and passed without dissent. The board adjourned at 12:50 p.m.
