At its June 22 meeting the Steuben County Legislature read and approved twelve resolutions covering a range of routine and substantive county business. Items included accepting the communications log, reading a tentative local law amending the Steuben County Charter, highway appropriations and transfers, grant acceptances and multiple personnel actions, including creating paramedic and EMT positions and confirming a director of purchasing appointment.
The clerk read each resolution and called roll for contested items; most items were carried by acclamation or roll call. The body also authorized staff to apply for Community Development Block Grant funding and moved into executive session to discuss two items involving personal or financial information of particular individuals.
