The Steuben County Legislature on June 22 approved Resolution 10 to create one paralegal assistant position (CSEA grade J) in the District Attorney's office. The resolution, introduced by Horton and Thew, passed on a roll-call vote.
During floor consideration a legislator asked whether the DA's previously mentioned office analysis of positions and duties had produced an update. A county staff member replied, "I have not heard any update on that. I can check, but that, he did mention that was his intention." The clerk then called the roll and the resolution carried.
