The Steuben County Legislature on June 22 approved Resolution 9 to create two emergency medical technician (EMT) positions in the Office of Emergency Services. The resolution, introduced by Horton and Thew, received no substantive questions and carried on the roll-call vote.
The clerk read the resolution and the body proceeded to a roll-call vote; the clerk announced the motion carried. The new positions were authorized as CSEA grade F positions to increase staffing capacity in the county's emergency medical services.
