Shipping and handling is estimated" and the anticipated total for the adoption is $7,381.48. Board members confirmed the course is an elective within the science curriculum and approved the purchase by voice vote.
The board noted the textbook aligns with Michigan science standards, and that the course is not part of the Michigan Merit requirements but serves as an enrichment elective for upper- and lower-class students depending on scheduling.
