On safety, district staff described a full-scale emergency preparedness exercise at Central High School on July 30 and plans for ALICE drills once school resource officers return. The board discussed how goals will be tracked and asked for midyear reporting; the superintendent said some goals are tied to specific metrics while others are completion-based.
A motion to approve the goals was made and seconded and passed by voice vote.
