Sedan council adopts SOP for reimbursements and approves memorial bench purchase

City Clerk Lana Smith presented a Standard Operating Procedure for training, travel and meal reimbursement and the council voted to adopt the SOP on a motion by Councilmember Crystal Wade. The approved SOP establishes how staff will be reimbursed for travel and related costs going forward.
The council also approved purchasing a six-foot bench in memory of Mariellen Appleby for $1,650.00 after a motion by Wellington Butler and a second by Crystal Wade. Both items were recorded as carried by unanimous vote in the minutes.
