Clark County adopts routine administrative resolutions, designates newspaper and bank depository and sets fees

The commissioners moved through several administrative resolutions on Jan. 8. The board designated the Clark County Courier as the official county newspaper for 2019 under Chapter 7-18, Sec. 3 SDCL and named Dacotah Bank (Clark branch) as the official county bank depository for 2019 on a motion by Commissioner Reints, seconded by Commissioner Knock.
The board also adopted Resolution 4-19 setting election-superintendent and deputy pay at $10.00 per hour for Election Day and training sessions, and set related delivery and polling-place fees under statute (Sec. 7-7-24 SDCL). In addition, Resolution 5-19 established a schedule of county fees for 2019 covering copying ($0.25 per page), building permit fees ($50 plus $1 per $1,000 valuation), variance and conditional use application fees ($125), rezoning fees ($200), overweight/overwidth permits, and other enumerated charges. All motions passed with unanimous votes.
