Board of Adjustment approves East River Electric utility structures on Riverview property

The Board of Adjustment, convened from the Clark County Commission meeting on Oct. 20, 2020, approved a conditional-use permit requested by East River Electric to install public utility structures on Tract 1 of Foster Creek Addition, property owned by Riverview Dairy, LLP in Fordham Township. Luke Muller, serving as parliamentarian and staff support for the hearing, confirmed board members had no conflicts and allowed staff to present findings of fact before the board moved to approve the permit.
Paul Letsche spoke on behalf of East River Electric and told the board the company would comply with all requested conditions. The public hearing recorded no additional testimony. The Board’s approval was recorded as unanimous: Voting aye — Hass, Bjerke, Knock, Reints and Sass. The permit is subject to the conditions and requirements of the county ordinance governing public utility structures.
