County engineer, supervisors offer temporary 50th Street closure for I-80 bridge deck overlays

After discussion, Brehm and the supervisors agreed to recommend closing 50th Street beginning next week and continuing until Sept. 14, a schedule chosen to allow the road to be open during harvest. Brehm will communicate the board's recommendation to the DOT. The minutes do not record any formal motion or vote on the recommendation; it is recorded as an agreed response to the DOT inquiry.
