Committee members confirmed that Zucchini Fest will be held at the New Town Hall property rather than downtown this year. Joe Roy Jr. said the festival is expected to be shorter and will no longer include fireworks or the Zuck races due to logistical challenges and volunteer shortages.
The committee also reviewed the success of its recent Meet the Candidates forum and discussed recognizing John Orloff's contributions publicly, possibly through a Select Board resolution. The festival's date is expected to be the second Saturday of August but remains to be finalized by the Select Board.
