Commission members said an appraisal of the parcel should be completed by July 2026 and that, if the Selectboard agrees with the proposal, it would be asked to provide a letter of commitment.
Commissioners discussed next steps for an L-T Management Plan related to the parcel and agreed Joan Hildreth would contact Dorothy Kinney-Landis of the Franklin County Natural Resources Conservation District (FCNRCD) for clarification on what information the commission must provide to move the plan forward. No formal vote on the VRC proposal was taken at the June 3 meeting; the commission recorded the upcoming presentation and the appraisal timeline as key milestones.
