The West Stockbridge Vision Committee on April 14 discussed whether to keep member Champika on its rolls while she starts a new job and considered steps to strengthen its membership roster. Joe Roy Jr. said he wanted to gauge the group's opinion before making a recommendation about Champika’s future involvement; the committee agreed to offer her flexible participation with voting privileges when she attends.
Committee members also emphasized the need to recruit a new clerk and additional members to avoid chronic absences. Frank Landsberger and Karen Carmean joined earlier in the meeting, bringing the committee to a quorum of four members, and the group considered evening meeting times and short-term projects as strategies to attract working professionals and younger residents.
