Lee Barrier, representing the Division of Information Technology, told the board May 8 that DIT recommends using the National Cooperative Purchasing Alliance contract number 01-170 with Logicalis, effective through Dec. 31, 2026, with two one-year renewal options, to procure hardware and software including Hewlett Packard, Microsoft, VMware and Palo Alto products and additional lines available through TD SYNNEX manufacturers.
"In 2023, the Board of County Commissioners approved DIT's use of NCPA contract number O1Dash97 with Logicalis for Hewlett Packard hardware, Microsoft software, VMware software, and Palo Alto software," Barrier said, and explained NCPA has moved its coverage to contract 01-170, which extends product availability. A committee member moved to utilize the NCPA contract; the board voted aye (Tim Myers, Philip DeVolt, Anna Meyerhoff Cole) and approved the recommendation.
The recommendation does not specify line-item costs in the meeting record; it was presented as a cooperative purchasing authorization to allow DIT to continue buying supported hardware and software under an established NCPA agreement.
