Planning Commission to work with BRAG on land-use, animal code review

Councilmember Anzl Rhodes reported that the Planning Commission plans to have Brandon Bell with BRAG review the town’s land-use code and general plan at an upcoming meeting.
Rhodes said he is compiling questions for Bell that address gaps and suggested edits in the code, including waste-management sections, access provisions, and items identified by Eric Dursteler as missing. The Planning Commission is reviewing animal code and wants direction from the council on preferred policy outcomes.
No final code changes were adopted at the July 2 meeting; the minutes show the commission will seek further guidance and return recommendations to the council.
