The Star Valley Ranch governing body voted 3-2 on Aug. 3, 2026, to accept the Town Administrator’s withdrawal of his resignation after the council met in a closed executive session. Mayor Rok, Councilman Ellis and Councilman Bitter voted in favor; Councilman Toolson and Councilman Merrill voted against the motion.
Councilman Merrill moved to accept the Town Administrator’s resignation withdrawal and Councilman Toolson seconded. The motion carried with three ayes and two nays after the council returned from an executive session called under W.S. 16-4-405(a)(ii) to consider employee matters. The special meeting had been called to order at 4:00 p.m.; the council adjourned at 5:00 p.m.
