Senior Planner Louis Cariola presented the project scope, zoning (RR-5), master plan findings and staff recommendations. The permit was moved and seconded by commissioners and approved 5-0. Travis Crowder, speaking after the vote, thanked the board for their support.
The approval allows the nonprofit to proceed with design and permitting steps required by county code; construction timelines and funding sources were not detailed at the meeting and will be addressed in subsequent permitting steps and building plan submissions.
