The Montgomery Selectboard adopted a new framework for Town Office hours at its June 1 meeting after reviewing a proposal developed with Municipal Clerk Liz Reighley.
Daniel Khan moved to adopt the proposed schedule; the motion passed 4-1-0. The meeting packet included a table comparing proposed and current public and closed hours. Visitor Roberta Baker raised a question about Town Office hours earlier in the meeting; the board discussed the clerk’s recommended framework before voting.
Minutes do not record the full text of the adopted schedule in the motion language, but the packet table included proposed daily open and closed times and a stated change in total public hours. Town staff will update posted hours and notify the public as required.
