Council approves routine minutes, claims and schedules March meetings

At its Feb. 10 meeting the Markesan Common Council approved the Jan. 13, 2026 Common Council minutes and several committee minutes, voted to approve claims and electronic payments as listed, and by consensus filed the January 2026 Treasurer’s Report for audit. Motions were recorded (Abendroth/Triemstra; Prill/Kazda) and carried 6-0.
The council also scheduled several upcoming meetings: Public Property & Health, Finance/Personnel & Safety, and Streets/Buildings & Utilities on March 3, 2026, and a proposed CDBG application public hearing at 6:30 p.m. on March 10 followed by the Common Council at 7:00 p.m. The meeting adjourned at 7:15 p.m.
