Police chief reports crosswalk signals working; borough hires consultant for traffic study

"We've had our new crosswalk signaling in for approximately 1 month," Chief Shaw said. He also reported that Gibson Thomas is conducting a comprehensive traffic study that will include Philadelphia Street and surrounding streets to avoid shifting safety problems to nearby neighborhoods. Chief Shaw said state representatives helped secure funding to support the study and that PennDOT continues to assist with signal integration.
